Understand where we’re heading! By the end of week one you should feel connected to our strategy and understand our business priorities. You should feel confident that Sage has a high-performing culture and excited to be part of the journey.
Engaged and excited! By the end of week 4 you should have a good understanding of how our business operates. With the support of your line manager you should also have created a motivational 90-day plan, which will provide you with a sense of ownership.
Focused and connected! Quickly approaching the end of your first three months with us! Our aspiration at this point is for you to feel less "new." You should now have a fairly broad network both internally and externally and feel able to connect with these contacts for support/guidance.
Knowledgeable and determined! At this point you should feel you have added value and achieved something worthwhile since joining us. Whether that’s completing a piece of work, influencing a decision or suggesting a new way of doing something.
We’re delighted that you’ve taken the decision to join us and are excited to share with you everything about life at Sage.
Here you’ll be able to access details on the key activities and learnings you’ll need to experience during your first three months with us. Our aspiration is for you to get up to speed quickly and be able to make a positive contribution as soon as possible.
At Sage we are passionate about putting our customer at heart of everything we do. To achieve this we understand the importance of providing our colleagues with an outstanding on-boarding experience. This is why we’ve designed this microsite to support your journey over the next few months.
Start by watching Stephen Kelly, our CEO as he welcomes you to our business and talks about our aspirations for the future. This film also features colleagues from across Sage who share their thoughts about what it’s like to work here.
Our aspiration is for Sage to be seen as a ‘teaching university’, an organisation where we get to work with some of the best experts and colleagues. Where you can learn new skills and grow your career. We want you to enjoy your time here, and I would encourage you to provide feedback to your manager on how we can make things better. We are keen to hear your ideas.
